Here is another
example of the importance of social media in today’s society. Twitter is
being asked, by the United States State Department, to postpone a planned
service outage in order to accommodate Iranian communications given the
country’s tumultuous political environment. Seeing as though the Iranian
government has left this service open, I am betting that Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad feels the urge
to send some tweets on occasion.
